I've had a bit of a low few weeks, due to personal circumstances, and it's safe to say it's taken a blow to my confidence. So trying to convince myself to get dressed up, and pose for blog photos has been a difficult thing to do. Confidence is something that definitely comes down to good days and bad days. We all have those pretty on fleek days, where you want to fill your Insta with more selfies than Kimmy K's selfie book. But unfortunately there's also days when your self confidence is -10, we all have them. Long term confidence and self esteem is something that takes time to build, and I'm sure even Beyonce has her days. But there's ways in which we can work towards our own self-confidence, rather than hindering it.

1. Surround yourself with people that love you. For the first time in my life I can probably say everyone in my life makes me 100% happy. I've learnt it's about quality and not quantity when it comes to relationships. All my friends and family are fully accepting of my Princess sass attitude, and in fact encourage it because it's me, and they all appreciate me for it. Just how I appreciate them for being a little more grounded and not overly dramatic.

2. Don't hate yourself for things you can't control. I often get so down in the dumps over things that I don't actually have any control over, particularly things that are in the past. Learning to forget and let go is a big step, but it's crucial to protect your happiness, and help build your confidence.

3. Dress to build your confidence. I know I feel confident when I have a good outfit on, but I'm still comfortable. Receiving this outfit made me incredibly happy, as it meant I was able to achieve both of those things.

So it's time to take a step back, and get my head in the game, building my self-confidence as I do so.
